Gene's Raincoat

This raincoat looks like a perfectly ordinary raincoat, conforming to the standards of its era and setting; however, if ever won in the rain, it will induce an inexplicable happiness in the wearer, calling for a roll against Will-2. If the roll is a success, the wearer will simply find themselves in an unusually good mood. If the roll is a failure, the wearer will begin dancing along the city streets, pirouetting around lampposts and singing merrily. Critical rolls have no additional effects. The coat, in and of itself, is not harmful to the wearer, though, any adventurer who has built up an image of a gruff, uncaring, emotionless tough guy will find it very difficult to maintain this image...

Component Spells: Unknown.

Asking price: Around half of the price of a new raincoat; this is regularly found at a pawnbroker's or other second-hand equipment store. Quality is impeccable.

The Bad-Ass Bandana

This bandana comes in many colors and patterns; no two descriptions have yet been found to match. The wearer, whoever that might be, will, while wearing this bandana, have a +2 bonus to both ST and DX. Naturally, there are side effects... While wearing the Bad-Ass Bandana, the wearer will be compelled to do everything in excessively heroic, almost mechanical ways. This is where the bonus to DX comes in handy; if the wearer, for example, wishes to do something as simple as opening an umbrella, it must be done in a swift sequence of swings and yanks; doing something slowly and carefully is not an option. Also, the wearer may find that weird pick-up lines work where they logically shouldn't, and receives a +3 bonus to all Reaction rolls from attractive (by the wearer's standards) members of the desired sex and compatible inclination. ("Give me some sugar, baby" is a classic, of course.)

Component Spells: Unknown. Possibly a result of random mana fluctuations.

Asking Price: As for an ordinary bandana; seller is seldom aware of its nature.
